I will pick up dvds at library. I will take care of finances at bank. I will play gears of war 2. I will watch Pushing Daisies. I will paint while Jess watches Ghost Hunters. I will clean. I will be clean. I will watch Mondays Terminator on Hulu. I will sleep in later than 7am. I will make something yummy for dinner. I will contemplate the meaning of Optimus Prime presence in the world we live in. I will remember that I really don’t have to do any of this, so stop over-thinking it all!
Update.
Things are about to start getting really hectic at work so I’m writing to let everyone know that Lucky Creature Attacks is done except for the covers (which are awesome, by the way) and the putting together. If there not done by Thanksgiving, then that will be what I use my Holiday for. Awesome!
Wow
Can I just say that last night was one of the few times in my life, I was really, really proud to be an American. It really hits you when you think about the fact that we are less than 150 years out of the Civil War and only 40 years removed from the civil rights movement and now we have Barack Obama- President Elect. Now is not the time to let up though. There is still so much work to be done, and this country is nowhere near perfect. But for that brief moment last night, it sure felt nice.
Geek Purchase of the Week: A little Gears?
Gears 1 was probably the reason I ended up getting the 360. And really, it has been the most reliable game for me to have fun continuing to play with the exception Worms on the arcade for the system. This one looks bigger, and badder, and I can’t wait to try it out when I bring it home Friday night.
Our pumpkin
Two Birds
cold simple.
The wind is howling. It beats my pants legs as it falls over, around me.
The sky turns grey without hope for another sunny day,
the winter works it’s northern magic,
I dial for an outside line, and there rests nothing but dead leaves.
We are mighty!
We who have discovered four walls and fire.
Let not a man discover, that we walked with fear.
A nurse and a spacefarer.
Two new creatures available now in my Etsy store One is a very happy Starman. The other a Nurse in the age of Lightning. Enjoy.
Update Starman sold.
Monday TV is kicking my arse.
Last night’s Chuck was one of the weaker episodes of the season, but still enjoyable. Heroes started tying up some loose ends and it’s amazing how big budget the show looks. Boston Legal was one of the better shows in recent history and you can see the end game coming. And then I watched Terminator on Hulu this morning. It’s amazing what some time can do for a show. The first episode last year was so awful, it”s amazing that it is now one of the best written shows on tv. I really enjoyed this week’s episode and it doesn’t hurt that Kendra Shaw from BSG:Razor has joined the cast.Monday TV is really a great way for me to start the week.
Going to NC
Peas is up early as I’m going to NC this weekend for some Football, some BBQ, and some family. Hoping for some decent weather, but the forecast says rain. Oh well.
