changing seasons
I work my last shift at B & N tommorow, and I’ve got to say I’m ready for the change. Have a week off between jobs, but were gonna be super busy during that time.
Saturday we are heading to Piegon Forge, Tn for Adventurecon for shopping this time, not selling. Then home for a few days and maybe catch Prince of Persia, before heading Wed to Charleston, S.C. for a little overnight beach excursion. Home briefly on Thursday night, and then were off to Charlotte, NC for Heroescon Friday day and spending the rest of the weekend at Con Carolinas Pretty geeky week, but it will charge my fanometer which usually charges my output of creativity, so that will be good.
Con-news has a big week.
I don’t usually talk to much about Con-News here, even though I’m its founder and do a lot of leg work on it everyday. But it’s not usually as personal as the things in this neck of the woods. But I really want to share that we are going to have a big week starting tommorow thanks to a awesome partnership with Funimation as they promote their release of Dragon Ball Z Kai. It’s really something cool to be working with one of the last great American Anime companies and there support makes me so proud of the work con-news has provided since 2007. A website has certain milestones. I got a feeling this could be one of them.

Call for comic artists.
I’m looking for good comic artists who are willing to create at a steady pace, and want co-creatorships over projects. I’ve got stories piling up in my brain and scripts ready to rock out at you, but I’m looking for the right partnerships to bring the images to life. If you can draw, and want to participate, send me an email. All styles welcome.

The Swell Season
The Swell Season put on a beautiful show last night at the Orange Peel. A few shots from our evening out, including my Chicken and Waffles. I now have completed a Proxy EGOT(being in the same room as the winners) of an emmy, grammy, tony, and finally after last night an Oscar winner). Tracey Jordan would be proud
Peas page 149
In this weeks Peas we journey to the island of LOST to check in on the smoke monster. One more episode to go this Sunday and then the soap opera ends.
Shatners Back
Shatner’s back this fall with Shit My Dad Says. I hate comedies filmed before a live studio audience, but then again it’s Shatner. These scenes from the pilot are. o.k. at best, but I’ll give it a few episodes to catch me. It is Shatner after all.
