Two more sleeps until the NC State Championship for pinball in Charlotte. Last year 4367 players (700 unique) players competed in
265 pinball tournaments across the state.
I feel fortunate to be the 6th seed and even more so to have 9 of my Asheville crew also competing there this weekend.
I have no expectations going in other then being excited about earning my participation spot. I get the winner of Liam Bradley , an amazing ten year old player who is quickly making a name for himself or my good friend Brian Tavener (one of the ogs of #avl while Tony Evans was running things here.) I’m fine taking a loss to either of them although I hope to not make it easy. End of day my worst case scenario is top 16 in our state for the year. Unthinkable a year ago.
Can’t wait to cheer everyone on, see some amazing talent do their thing, and just have fun.
