travel poem: Asheville to Indianapolis

Petrol and pavement,
Dulcimers and dumplings,
The waitress lives by the train tracks
in Midway, Ky where rests the lonely jockey.
Double scoop of Ale 8 good sir with a tinge of ginger and bluegrass lovin’
I’m a mile tiger, while my son tames lions.
We race on.
We race on.
