is well. aqua teen. its funny and it definetly has its moments, but there are also times when you just don’t feel it and wonder how anyone could get away with this stuff as even being remotely funny. But it has meatwad as much as it has master shake. Strictly only for fans of the show, but yeah worth it. I think when I buy the dvd i will watch this movie chapter by chapter. That way it will be like getting another season instead of a very long episode. B.

Message board is gone. lone live the blog!
So anyway, the message board is gone. It just seemed redundant when no one was posting and all the traffic was coming here anyway. So yeah if you really need to talk please post it in the comments here. anyone can post, you don’t need to be a registered blogger user, and it doesn’t need to relate to whatever thing i’m talking about at the moment( although that would be nice). Oh yeah, did I mention were working on a podcast. it’s true. Who wants to guest on a show with me??
Optic Nerve returns.
Optic Nerve #11 By Adrian Tomine. Finally this issue is out and finally we can conclude this 3 parter. Tomine is once again playing the wordiness of comics around and what we get is a little piece of self loathing and a wonderfully realised story.
Always good Aplus.
Loveless # 18. More blackwater foolishness. B plus.
Fell #8 Wouldn’t you know it. Optic Nerve gets overshadowed by this book. Fell is not just a great value in comics, it’s also a writer’s workshop, and artistic beauty and truly the best comic I’m reading. APLUS!
Jonathon Dalton’s poster (pre color)
Wow. here’s a work in progress from Jonathon Dalton’s webpage He still is going to add color but yeah, were very excited about this poster release. Smiles all away around.
SUPPPEEERRR PAAAPPPPER!!!
I managed to snag a copy of Super Paper Mario for the wii yesterday at a big box retailer who chose to break the street date. It’s my first Wii purchase since launch and so far I’m enjoying it. The puzzles are pretty good but I wonder how long ill be interested in the the long text breaks. It does have some rpg elements which is nice and the whole ecth a sketch look is amazing. After playing Gears of War for the past couple weeks, all those bright crayola nintendo colors are a sight for my eyes.
I’ve decided to pass on seeing Grindhouse at the cinema. I’ll rent them instead and not have to worry about drinking to much coke during the three hour marathon.
Aqua Teen is confirmed for our local small theatre on Friday. I will be there friday evening! Because, you know, Meatwad on the big screen.
Host Movie
Just got back from seeing The Host, the korean movie about an awesome toxic monster living in the sewers and the family that goes after it. This movie is wonderful and for a monster movie has plenty of nice family touches that are all very well played. We don’t get enough Monster movies anymore and it’s great when a genre film can also be infused with a sense of humor and understanding.
Too bad it wont play in the big chain theatres. It could of been a hit.
aqua teen’s movie website. Send Meat Mail!
