Lucky Creature Attacks #4 Call for Submissions!

It’s that time of year again. Here’s our annual call for our anthology Lucky Creature Attacks. This years book is going to be a coloring book. What we are looking for are illustrations, comics, and other creativity that people will be able to color in if they choose too. The size of the images should be no larger than 6 3/8″ Wide x 10″ High and Black and White. All submissions/questions should be sent to me at luckycreaturelabel@gmail.com The deadline to submit is July 31st, 2009 with publication to happen in fall of 2009.  Good luck and can’t wait to see what you come up with!

So your sitting there reading your copies of Lucky Creature Attacks # 3 or your Peas Almost Action figure set (which strangely has seen a lot of orders lately) and your wondering what’s coming out next from us? I’m kind of wondering/pondering that as well.

I can say for sure that Lucky Creature Attacks #4 will be out next fall as that is an annual anthology I don’t see myself tiring of producing anytime soon. I have one written thing that I’m looking for a collaborator on that may or may not be through Lucky Creature.

On the music side I think I have solved my dilemna of putting things to a physical press in this itunes world. The solution, although I’m not ready to talk about it is economical as well as environmentally  friendly.  We are persuing if there are any artists who feel the same way we do about it. If there is then you’ll see new music from us in 2009. If not, then maybe another day. 

I doubt you’ll get another poster from us this year, but never say never. There should be a new His World Her World after Jessica graduates from Grad school this spring.

In the online world there will continue to be Peas adventures every Friday and con-news.com is a beast that could probably run without any support from me, it’s founder. We are toying with launching a new project like that, but in a different medium.

And then there’s me branching into Etsy which has been very fun and a nice release for my silly paintings. Things get more personal, but I’m pretty proud of that fact. 

So what’s next for Lucky Creature? Sometimes I wonder if I’ll know when I see it. But if I do, you’ll be the first to know.

I know I haven’t been updating here as much, been trying to find time for it. con-news continues to take more time, but that’s a good thing as its up big time in the internet numbers game and we are about to welcome a new sponsor on board as well. So that’s keeping me busy. And then there’s the upcoming deadline for LCA #3, and Peas, and of course my summer movies. At least the movies are winding down now? Maybe?

This is a reminder that submissions for this years Lucky Creature Attacks are due at the end of the month. Thats less than two weeks away. I know many of you are waiting till the last possible minute, well that minute is now. What we have already is going to make this the best year yet, but we always want more!

beauty2.jpg We have been on a roll lately at luckycreature and decided to give something back. Now whether its torture or not is the true question. these our some of my musical tinkerings from 2006 to early 2007 that I just can’t see doing anything with so you might as well have them for free. Doggy is very funny and bedroomsong1 is about as close as youll get to hearing me play exercises in breathing music at this point in my life.
