woah. missed peas on friday? it’s up now. I dont know why or how i forgot to post it. It’s been done for weeks. So anyway. Lucky Creature Attacks price point has been determined. movies and comics, oh my!
Went to see American Gangster last night. A very good crime flick and one of the only movies I’ve seen this year that feels like an oscar movie. Denzel Washington should get a nod and the direction of Ridley Scott is focused soley on the story he is telling. Very very good.
But I liked the Darjeeling Limited better. I’ve always had a soft spot for Wes Anderson and this is his most serious film yet. Makes me want to research Indian train lines.
Picked up Hellboy Darkness Calls #6 today and it ends the story for baba yaga yet again. It was a very good Hellboy story overall and I really really love the coloring in this book.
Also got Joss Whedon’s Astonishing X-men # 23 and it was o.k. but not as emotionally charged as the past few issues. Give it a B.

Got some crazy Tv news concerning Joss Whedon having a new tv show next fall. It’s not Firefly >: but we will take what we can get. Anyway hope everyone is doing great, should have some LCA # 2 news late next week.

Im really getting behind on a few things. There is this cool peas thing Im almost done with but havent had time to finish. I need to get an ad ready for this weekends festivities and I have Peas pages to draw. Top that off with the fact Im trying to put together LCA #2 and it’s all a little overwhelming. Oh well. Cant really complain too much. It’s what I do.
Peas, 360.
New Peas page is up. Got the red rings of death on my 360. The UPS guy actually knew what was in the box just by the size. He says “you wouldn’t believe how many of these we are shipping back.” That’s just sad. Hope I get mine back soon. I was in the middle of Halo 3 and Eternal Sonata!
Lucky Creature Attacks #2 work continues.
finally back in Iowa, I have begun compiling Lucky Creature Attacks #2 I still hope to have it out in time for the holidays. We have decided to start work on LCA #3 in January this year to give everyone more time. We will announce plans for that comic after we get this one out.
Just hanging out here in Greenville, NC for the weekend. Have no clue what trouble Im going to get into today but it’s hot and you know that can’t be good. Heat makes people crazy!
