Castle Crashers!
One of my favorite games of this generation, finally gets the creature treatment with this Castle Crasher. He’s up on Etsy till he’s gone.

Jessica is going to be one of many artists whose work is going to be projected onto a screen during the performance of the band Ten Cent Poetry next week on Friday June 17th at the awesome Orange Peel here in Asheville. Pretty cool stuff and a new medium for her. I’m interested to see how it turns out.
Placebo Part 32: Final.
It’s been months since I had any news on Sparrow. The television says she’s most likely dead. Something tells me she’s o.k. but I have no clue what to think. Daisy has been staying with me, getting clean, and occasionally we have rekindled our life together.
One night she takes a breath to tell me I’m her medicine, that I’m helping her on her recovery.
At best I’m a placebo, holding her hand.
She’s doing all the hard work. Sometimes when I look into her eyes, I see my wife there.
It feels good.
The end. (Thanks for taking the journey with me on this experiment. 32 weeks we went on this story called Placebo. I’m going to collect this in a small zine print version. If you enjoyed the story, I’d love for you to get a copy. I’ll have news on it soon.)
E3 day 1
Heroescon
Had a great time at Heroescon yesterday. To me this is the Comic Book Convention. There are no B celebrities like at Wizard World. No Wrestlers of any kind. It’s about the comics. And the wealth of talent on the show floor makes it the place for comic fans of all tastes. You can go to this show with less than an hundrend bucks and come home with some amazing artwork. Or you could save your money throughout the year and come home with a gallery. The point is, if you like comics and comics arts, this is the show for you. About half the room is dealers so if your fandom is the digging through bins passion then there is more than enough of that for you here as well.
One of the highlights for me was seeing James Silvani and buying that awesome Darkwing Duck ‘Terror’ print from him. It’s already on my wall. Other purchases included comics from many of the indie artists, a five dollar Doctor Who trade, Y the last Man deluxe #4 and a Coyote Ragtime Show Box set.
On a personal note we have made many friends as we do many of the smaller shows across the area, and it really becomes one of the nice things about this convention. Catching up with old friends.

Heroescon rocks. If you live on the east coast, or can afford the plane ticket, make the trip next year. The dates are June 22nd-24th, 2012. Oh and look for us in Artist Alley. If we can get a table, we will be there.
Peas 203
Peas continues with a weird Alpha Flight page I don’t know what the hell I’m doing with Peas anymore, and yet, something pulls at me to keep making it every week.
Weekend ahead.
Tommorow night going out to Xmen First Class. Super excited for the film. It’s funny I dreaded it when they announced it, but now I can’t wait. Heading to Heroescon in Charlotte on Saturday. Gonna see a bunch of amazing artists and some of our friends while there. My dad visits Sunday, so our first weekend back looks to be super full. See some of you in Charlotte!
Creature Bottles!
I teased these about a month ago with a twitpic of the painted bottles, have finally added the first creatures. Each of the bottles will come painted with two creatures on them. The first one features a Panda creature and a Spiky hair one and is up on Etsy now Also painted an ood from Doctor who, also on etsy right now. If you want a specific creature on a bottle, just shoot me an email. I’m not sure when Ill be able to get these bottles again, so first come first served.
