This weekend while at Nashicon, an awesome young artist brought me her vision for Jessica Parasol, Daytime Ghost Hunter as a furry. Its beyond great getting fan art before the first strip is posted. Ill have more on Nashi in the days to come.

This will be the last ride in this city, my last trip down these streets. I have ended my life here, need to make a break, from Tommy, from everything. My band will carry me away, keep me protected from the road ahead. Sparrow Sprite will not show the world how broken she is. I refuse to. My blue Corvettes’ engine purrs at the traffic light. I need to finish one last thing.
Set the wheels in motion, make my escape. I pull into the 7-11. There’s a guy on the curb staring wide eyed.
“Hey got a smoke?”
I ask cause I could use one. He doesn’t. Still looks like he’s in shock at seeing me in front of him. WHATEVER. Let’s get this show on the road.
Into the neon store I go, a little bird about to fly away.
Taking a weekend off to get the car tuned up because life is going to be moving full speed ahead soon.
Next weekend March 19th & 20th I’ll be in the Artist Alley of Nashicon in Columbia, SC.
The following weekend Im planning on going to see Jonathon Coulton at The Grey Eagle on Friday night before we head to Raleigh for the weekend to visit Jess’s parents.
April 1st we should be in town to catch up, and theres the Edible Book Fest at Asheville Bookworks.
April 7th Actionfest starts here in Asheville. I plan on catching a few of the films, but either this weekend or the following (16th) I will be heading to Greenville, NC to visit my brother and take in some ECU Baseball.
April 23rd I will be in Charlotte, NC running a table with my creatures at the first ever Hoshicon on the UNCC campus.
April 30th-May1st, Back to Columbia, SC for the Columbia Anime Con which is basically a dealers room event. I will have a table there so if you miss me at Nashicon, heres another chance SC.
May 16th-29th, We are traveling to Jessica’s old home of Tapei, Taiwan. It will be the longest trip Ive ever been on, and the farthest away Ive ever been. Excited.
June 4th, Heroescon We decided not to have a table being so close to our Taiwan trip but we will go as fans and press on this Saturday to the best comic creator show on the east coast.
