I am on a season five marathon of Alias in order to finish it and give it back to my friend before we move. During the 3rd to 5th episodes that I was watching yesterday these creatures were born. The Faith creature is loosely based on the character from Mirror’s Edge, then there is the big hulking general. I especially like his Golden face, and last I made a Prince for all you Katamari fans out there. See them larger and with more detail at Etsy while they last.

Painted while watching the E3 Press conferences today. King Hippo I actually have been working on for a few weeks. It’s such a simple design but I couldn’t get the original Egg Head shape to work for me. So I shrunk it down into a circle. I then realized the head wasn’t his most identifiable feature. It’s got to be the big bandage that you punch over and over again. I love that game and I love King Hippo the most. I need to scrounge up the dollars for Punch Out on the Wii one of these days. The other creature is a Blue Bunny. Only the second bunny I have made, and I’d be lying if I didn’t give some credit to Raving Rabbids for this smiling creature. The great king Black Bolt of the awesome marvel comic The Inhumans sits for one of my portraits. Of course I couldn’t get him far away from his wife Medusa and her red hair kept getting in the picture. I love the Inhumans and the Paul Jenkins and Jae Lee run on the group is always a good read.
