One of the most vivid memories I have of my brother and me as youngsters was us arguring at Northgate mall in Durham as I wanted to spend my saved allowances on a Sega Genesis and the still awesome X-men game and he wanted a super Nintendo. He eventually got the SuperNes but we had the Genesis first and with it Sonic the Hedgehog and NHL 93 became cornerstones of my 16 bit life. Here’s my attempt at Sonic over at Etsy

Mr. Silver is part of the spiky hair/wind blown family of creatures but is also kin to the Mr. Copper creature I created earlier this year who already has found a home. Anyway he’s up at etsy if anyone wants him.

This little guy’s outline was done at the same time as the Martian Manhunter, but I got sleepy and didn’t paint him. I think he’s super cute in the way of the cloud creature family I have painted.
