I don’t usually talk to much about Con-News here, even though I’m its founder and do a lot of leg work on it everyday. But it’s not usually as personal as the things in this neck of the woods. But I really want to share that we are going to have a big week starting tommorow thanks to a awesome partnership with Funimation as they promote their release of Dragon Ball Z Kai. It’s really something cool to be working with one of the last great American Anime companies and there support makes me so proud of the work con-news has provided since 2007. A website has certain milestones. I got a feeling this could be one of them.

Fanaticon!
Fanaticon was a great show. They estimate over 3,000 people attended during the 7 hours we were open. I am happy to let some creature paintings find new homes today, and was surprised that the Bob Peas button was a hit with the preteenage girl crowd. One girl even bought two! Needless to say she will be the coolest girl at school Monday. Jessica sold alot of artwork as well, and more importantly we made lots of new friends. We both can’t wait to attend next year’s Fanaticon.

See you there!
Goat creature.
I painted this guy today to enter into the Capricon 29 art show in a couple of weeks. So if you like him he will be up for bid there. To meet the rules, he is a goat, holding a smores, has tents on his shirt, and the constellation Capricorn above his head. Ta-Da! I’m looking forward to what the other artists bring.

One week till Christmas
It’s one week till Christmas boys and girls. What are you getting?
I’m hoping for some Blu-rays and a nice warm hot chocolate.
In two weeks I’ll be at the Liberty Bowl. Some live college football for me is a nice treat for me these days and anytime it’s the Pirates it makes it worth my time.
Planning my spring mini trips, I know Southern Graphics Council in March is penned in and I’d also like to make Pokketokon, Capricon, Marscon, and the Midwest Gaming Classic all depending on the weather.
Been writing some again, which is fun, even if it leads nowhere.
Oh and I made this painting, available at my etsy store.
Well anyway, hope everyone is doing well!
