CONvergence was great yet again, now the move needs to take precedence over everything else. We still have the Iowa City Book Festival which Jessica is vending in on July 18th. Other than that lots of packing. I have actually had the Wii on lately as I have been playing No More Heroes and just got Punch Out from the library. Call for submissons to our annual anthology Lucky Creature Attacks. This years book is going to be a coloring book. What we are looking for are illustrations, comics, and other creativity that people will be able to color in if they choose too. The size of the images should be no larger than 6 3/8? Wide x 10? High and Black and White. All submissions/questions should be sent to me at luckycreaturelabel@gmail.com The deadline to submit is July 31st, 2009 with publication to happen in fall of 2009. This may be the best movie ever made. Watch at least until you get to Fried Shrimp, although there are other classics to follow including handicap gun. I need to see this movie like now.
This little guy’s outline was done at the same time as the Martian Manhunter, but I got sleepy and didn’t paint him. I think he’s super cute in the way of the cloud creature family I have painted.
