WALL-E peas 50.
Wall-E is an amazing feat of storytelling. About an hour in you get your first line of real dialogue. About thirty minutes in you realize your in love with that little robot. Amazing. My hats off to the fine folks at Pixar. You have created movie magic again. It is my favorite movie of this summer movie season so far. It’s the kind of movie that is without being cliche, magical.
Peas page 50 is up. Inspiration comes from a song by The Swell Season off the Once soundtrack.
Heading out first thing to Chicago for Wizard World tommorow and Taste of Chicago sunday.
Can Not Wait!

Nice Day off.
It has been a very nice day off, although I did spend two hours looking for a hotel room for Wizard World/Taste of Chicago next weekend. I played alot of games this morning but got bored pretty quickly. Went and made copies of some things. We have our cover for His World Her World #9. It’s full color again!
Meant to edit a story I’ve had finished for weeks now but never got around to it. Oh well, going to eat some pesto ravioli for dinner then go play frisbee!
Things in Progress at LC
A day of volunteering and hulking
So we started the day by going down to North Hall to try and save some of the stuff from the center for the book. After being there less than an hour the police came and kicked us. They padlocked the doors and sent us on our way. We headed up to mickeys for beers and lunch and then got persuaded to see the Incredible Hulk instead of The Happening. It was actually a pretty decent summer movie. Not Iron Man or Batman good. But better than Ang Lee’s vision of the Hulk from a few years ago. Afterwards we went down to the library and joined a chain gang moving books and Iowa Films out of Special Collections. Ended our day with Fruitista’s from Taco Bell. Now settling in for the final Battlestar of the year. Tommorow I will try to navigate the roads/rivers and get to work.
Peas Hulk out.
Just uploaded peas page 48. just wanted to let everyone know that we are fine. there is water all the way around us but our apartment is many blocks up from the river and in no current danger of being flooded. Its crazy how much is already under water. We will most likely lose power tommorow so no internet for me.
