lost again
Current thought process is jumbled due to the overwhelming amount of fear I have for tonights State of the Union. Here’s hoping we make it out alive. Bush has 11 months left in office, can we stay out of another war in that time period?
On a different note. Aqau Teen VOl. 5 comes out tommorow. Stupidity ensues. Now that I think about it, not much difference is there?
New peas page, Etsy art,
I’m pretty proud of today’s Peas comic. I’ve always liked silent comics because I think it takes a sense of reading that is unavailable in other forms to get it right. Jason is a master of this type of storytelling and it’s pretty great when done well. Today’s page was kind of important for me, because it’s cute, it’s simple and it just feels like Peas should.
Anyway above is a picture of Bub from Bust a move that I drew while watching Chuck last night.
I’ve uploaded it to my etsy store if anyone wants to hang it on their wall.
Astonishing X-men #24
We have moved!
Cloverfield gets a B.
Cloverfield was probably the best movie Ive ever seen in January. That being said I had to watch more than half of the movie standing in the hallway beside the stadium seating. If you have any kind of motion sickness, think twice before seeing this movie on the big screen. Wont spoil anything for you but the monster does kick butt.
Fell # 9 Review.
O.k. I know I haven’t really spent much time on comics lately. Still been reading them, just been too busy to really pay much attention to review them. But Fell #9 from Mr. Warren Ellis and Mr. Ben Templesmith does it again. In just 16 pages it manages to tell a complete story, use storytelling techniques brand new to the medium and look absolutely amazing. It’s one of the few comics left today that are worth the wait. Another fine issue. A Plus.
