here comes summer!

Well it’s right around the corner. Here come’s the heat, the humidty and the air condition fun!
Im ready for the popcorn to start flowing this week with spiderman 3 and not let up till the fall.
Already planning some long trips(minneapolis for convergence and vacation), milwaukee and chicago, and wish we had air conditioning in the car. Might head down to Kansas City this week for Planet COmicon. Heard it’s the 2nd biggest show next to Wizard World and since yet again that conflicts with a closer and arguably betterlocal event I will not be attending this year
So much fun right around the corner.

YES! these things look even better in person. What a thrill for our first poster to come out sooooo nice!!!
Orders are up on our main page so get ordering. Remember this is strictly limited to 500 copies. We have two options $4 to have it shipped with one fold or 7$ rolled in a tube. Were thrilled with this release. Im going to get my copy framed this weekend!

Can’t Stop The Serenity Year 2

The second year of screenings of Serenity for the charity Equality Now have been announced and there’s one in Des Moines! I may have to take the night off. This is pretty special. The fact that three years after the movie came out (to a small audience) it is going to fill theatres across the world in one weekend and all for charity. Man I got on the Whedon train late, but you got to admire his fans and the passion this crew had brewed. I guess you really Can’t Stop The Serentiy

superfu*%&ers # 4

James Kolchaka’s Super hero team for the foul mouthed and not so super continues here in all it’s day glo color. The best part of the whole issue comes with the first line of profanity on the very first page. Somethings you just can’t repeat, even when they’ve been written in what looks like a kids book. Much better than the first two issues, not quite as good as the last.

Moon Knight #9

Only picked up Moon Knight # 9 this week and new penciler MICO SUAYAN does a nice job of replacing finch although not quite as detailed in the backgrounds. Wonder what will happen in issue ten? In all realities Moon Knight and Punisher shouldn’t really have a problem with each other. Will be interesting to see how Huston plays it.

It’s raining geek.

It’s so nice outside. I went for a really nice walk through neighborhoods I’ve never been in today. Came home and finally saw an episode of Torchwood. It’s better than I thought it would be but I doubt we will ever get it in the states. Maybe dvd only? Saw last night’s Drive on Fox’s myspace page. Nathon Fillion could play Bozo the Clown and I think I would still watch.
Need to make some dinner soon, watch Shatner on Boston Legal tonight, and record an interview for the podcast.
