Photo History #9 Tracie Pouliot

This is my friend Tracie Pouliot and her wall of creatures in her office at work. Known Tracie and her traveling partner Jonathon for less than a year, but they have quickly become good friends of ours here in Asheville.
Tracie is a wonderful printmaker and artist. She is also a creator of her own brand of creatures some of which can be seen in her Monsters series here.

Extending the family tree one more spot alot of Tracie’s work can be browsed and purchased through her website here.

Librari-con 2010

I am going to be attending Librari-Con 2010 in Fayetteville, NC on Saturday September 4th, 2010. I’m going to be in the Artist Alley selling my creatures and comics so stop on by and say hello, have a chat. This convention fell into place perfectly this year as I am already making the trek east to attend the ECU football game on Sunday, so this is a nice addition to my drive. Hope to meet many of you there. Librari-con Website
Artwork is by Kaysha Siemens of Eldanis Studios.

Jessica Parasol

Introducing one of my comics projects, I’m happy to announce Jessica Parasol, Daytime Ghost Hunter with artist Nick Wentland coming this fall. Jess always joked about the Ghost Hunters only going out at night and that was the first of many fires which led to this creation. What you see here is a rough sketch of Jessica Parasol that Nick did in prepping for the character on a postcard advertising our comic. You will be able to get the postcard and maybe have Nick sign it as he attends the Baltimore Comic Con August 28th and 29th at the Broken Icon Booth and from me at a few shows I’m doing this fall. As always if your dying to have one, let me know and I’ll get them in the mail asap.
Hope you’ll join us for issue one later this fall, it’s gonna be a ride.
